The Haitian big man, who the Blazers traded to the Atlanta Hawks at the 2020 trade deadline, appeared to have had a sparse market of suitors during NBA free agency.
The Knicks’ G League team in Westchester is finalizing a deal to sign the former first-round pick Skal Labissiere, league sources say,— Marc Stein (@TheSteinLine) December 7, 2020
Labissiere spent 12 months with the Blazers after being traded from the Sacramento Kings in February 2019.
Drafted out of Kentucky, Labissiere averaged 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in his year with the Blazers. Prior to his trade to the Hawks, Labissiere exited a Dec. 28 matchup with a left knee articular cartilage lesion.
