Dave and Dia go hard on starting forwards, reserve guards, and low projected win totals for Portland.

This week Portland Trail Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts announced Robert Covington and Derrick Jones, Jr. as the probable starters for the new-look team heading into the 2020-21 regular season. Meanwhile we got news that Rodney Hood will be ready to play, but possibly with minutes restrictions in place, while Zach Collins will not. Harry Giles got profiled on site, and President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey declared that Anfernee Simons is more than adequate as a reserve point guard.

In short, Dave Deckard and Dia Miller had a million and one things to talk about in the third episode of “Dave and Dia” your newest Trail Blazers Podcast at Blazer’s Edge.

But we haven’t even gotten to the GOOD PART. Just a couple hours before Dave and Dia recorded the podcast, both ESPN and Bleacher Report came out with projections featuring the Blazers in a slightly lower spot than Dia anticipated. For those of you who weren’t alive in the spring of 1980, well, let’s just say that the eruption of Mt. Saint Dia will be an event long-remembered in these parts. If you listen to that portion of the podcast, be prepared to sweep up ashes and spittle from your driveways for WEEKS.

Give it a listen, subscribe, and tell your friends! Dave and Dia comes at you right now.
