The Trail Blazers’ next game against the Rockets appears to be trending in the right direction after Houston was forced to postpone Wednesday’s outing due to coronavirus quarantine policies.
The Rockets, who were without eight active players on Wednesday, were forced to postpone their contest against the Thunder. Despite that first postponement, ESPN’s Tim MacMahon revealed that Saturday’s game between Houston and Portland could be on track.
MacMahon delivered an update regarding Saturday’s status on Twitter:
The NBA is still in the process of determining the quarantine periods for the Rockets who were not available last night due to contract tracing. With James Harden, the Rockets have eight available players, which is enough to play in Portland on Saturday.
The Rockets are scheduled to travel to Portland for Saturday’s game. As outlined above, the Rockets must have eight players available in order to face the Blazers. We will update the status of Saturday’s game as news develops.
