Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard has earned an All-NBA squad nomination for three consecutive seasons. According NBC Sports NBA contributors Kurt Helin and Dan Feldman, that trend is likely to continue after the conclusion of the 2020-21 campaign.
Helin and Feldman listed Lillard as a first first-team guard in their All-NBA forecast. In regards to the first team, Feldman and Helin posted identical ballots:
First team
Guard: Luka Doncic (Mavericks)
Guard: Damian Lillard (Trail Blazers)
Forward: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks)
Forward: LeBron James (Lakers)
Center: Anthony Davis (Lakers)
Last season, Lillard posted a career-best 30.0 points and 8.0 assists per game. At the conclusion of the regular season, Lillard earned second-team All-NBA honors. The former Weber State standout earned a first-team nod for his work in the 2017-18 season.
With Lillard leading the way, the Blazers begin their regular season schedule against the Jazz on Dec. 23.
