The tentative schedule includes games between the New Orleans Pelicans and Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets.
It is unknown when the schedule will be confirmed but as it stands, six Western Conference teams and four Eastern Conference teams will be on show on this marquee basketball day.
Portland also missed out on a Christmas Day game last year. The team last played on Christmas in 2018 when the team took on the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.
