Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic has showcased his ability to dominate in the paint on both ends of the floor. However, that isn't stopping the big man from trying to add new elements to his game. In a video shared by famous basketball trainer Phil Becker (who is known for his work with Damian Lillard), Nurkic can be seen practicing shots from 3-point range:

Great concept to work on SHOT MAKING ABILITY and MINDSET.
Make 2 in a row at one spot - run to another spot to make your 3rd in a row. Make all 3 in a row = 1 Trifecta
Making 5 Trifectas is a great way to end workouts!

Nurkic has shown an interest in the deep ball in recent seasons. During the 2018-19 campaign, he attempted 29 three-pointers, making three of them. Then, in his practices leading up to his return this season, Nurkic displayed a shooter’s touch from deep:

The big man made two of his 10 attempts from deep during the NBA season restart in Orlando. Nurkic only has five career made 3-pointers, but his effort in offseason workouts could help that number increase.
