Recent days brought speculation as to what type of contract Elleby would be awarded. The Washington State standout seemed ripe for a two-way contract, given the loosening of two-way restrictions for the upcoming season. Two-way contracts for 2020-21 allow for players to be active for up to 50 games, instead of being limited to 45 overall days. The team’s announcement and clarification by Quick solidifies the prospects for the upcoming season’s roster.
