Ed Davis Is Headed To New York And Avery Bradley Opts Out

The Utah Jazz traded the former Blazer to the Knicks while Avery Bradley, who sat out the NBA Bubble, may be on the move.

Ahead of NBA free agency, moves continue to be made. The Utah Jazz traded former Trail Blazer Ed Davis to the New York Knicks along with a pair of second-round picks in a salary-saving move.

Avery Bradley has opted out of his player option with the Los Angeles Lakers for the upcoming season, reports Shams Charania. Bradley sat out the bubble, while the Lakers went on to win the championship.

Juancho Hernangomez has received a qualifying offer from the Minnesota Timberwolves. He joined the team in February after being traded by the Denver Nuggets.

The Detroit Pistons have decided to part ways with Thon Maker. They acquired Maker via a three-team trade including the Milwaukee Bucks and the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019.

Semi Ojeleye is set to remain with the Boston Celtics after the team picked up his option. The Celtics drafted Ojeleye in 2017.

In Phoenix, the Suns have passed on Cheick Diallo. He played 47 games for the Suns in the 2019-20 season.

The Celtics are sending Vincent Poirier to the Thunder along with cash considerations for a second-round pick. The Celtics signed Poirier in 2019.

Milwaukee has issued a qualifying offer for Frank Mason III, who started with the team in 2019 on a two-way contract. Mason was the G League MVP in the 2019-20 season playing for the Wisconsin Herd.
