The NBA’s trade window officially opens on Monday, but that didn’t prevent the Lakers and Thunder from getting a head start. According to reports from both The Athletic’s Shams Charania and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers are set to receive veteran point guard Dennis Schroder from the Thunder.
LA Times reporter Brad Turner confirmed the rumors shortly after the news broke.
Can confirm reports that Lakers in advanced talks to acquire OKC point guard Dennis Schroeder for Danny Green and No. 1 pick, 28. . Deal can be completed Monday. Lakers moving ahead as if Rajon Rondo will get a big deal in free agency.

Since a pick is involved, the move won’t officially process until after the conclusion of the 2020 NBA Draft.
Last season, Schroder averaged 18.9 points and 4.0 assists per game in 65 regular season outings with the Thunder (two starts).
