The 2020 NBA Draft will be televised live on ESPN on November 18th at 7:00 PM Eastern, 4:00 PM Pacific. The league and ESPN announced the broadcast location and schedule today. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will preside over the first round, Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum over the second.
The draft will be held in mid-November because of the five-month long hiatus that delayed the finish of the 2019-20 season as COVID-19 interrupted professional sports leagues across the United States and the world.
The Portland Trail Blazers own the 16th and 46th picks in the draft. Blazer’s Edge has been running profiles of possible selections, including Michigan State forward Xavier Tillman, Vanderbilt wing Aaron Nesmith, Dayton forward Obi Toppin, and Gonzaga frontcourt scorer Killian Tille.
The Blazers netted small forward Nassir Little with the 25th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.
The Minnesota Timberwolves own the top pick this year, followed by the Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets.
