CJ McCollum hosted a prestigious guest on his first episode of his new show, “Remaking America” on PlayersTV: Senator Kamala Harris of California, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee. Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz and Tobias Harris of the Philadelphia 76ers joined the Portland Trail Blazers’ shooting guard in the interview. In it, Harris touched on the importance of voting, education, police reform, and investing in the health and well-being of communities.
Harris shared the interview on her YouTube channel.
A main point of focus in the interview was education reform, a subject important to McCollum, who invests a great deal of time and money in supporting Boys and Girls Clubs. Harris said of teachers: “It’s a skill and it’s a gift, to give your life to educate other people’s children and to your point, 94% pay out of pocket for school supplies and we don’t pay them enough.”
PlayersTV is available via ReachTV in many airports and hotels, on Samsung smart televisions, and on SlingTV. Each episode will be thirty minutes long.
