Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum has not been shy about his media ability, nor his aspirations to work in broadcasting when his NBA career is over. He’ll be getting a head start in a big way tomorrow when he launches a new show, “Remaking America”, on PlayersTV. His first guests will include Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris.

Harris tweeted out a teaser for her appearance with McCollum today.

Also joining the show will be Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell and Philadelphia 76’ers forward Tobias Harris.

Last month Forbes published a lengthy article on McCollum’s project, which included this quote from CJ himself:

“America certainly is a great country with plenty of freedoms, but there are a lot of systemic issues that need to change,” McCollum told Forbes in an exclusive interview by phone from his home in Oregon. “I have an extremely unique perspective growing up African American in an inner city, going to public school, off to a private university, into the NBA and now living among the top 1% of Americans that I bring to this show and that I can use to help make this country better and more inclusive.”

The show will air via a 30-minute format. PlayersTV is available via ReachTV in many airports and hotels, on Samsung smart televisions, and on SlingTV.
