Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard earned his fifth trip to the NBA All-Star Game on Thursday, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. The Oakland native finished behind James Harden and Luka Doncic in voting for All-Star starters, but he secured a place as a reserve.

Lillard is enjoying a season full of career-high numbers. Through 46 contests, he is averaging 29.0 points and 7.8 assists per game. Leading into Thursday’s announcement, Lillard has strung together four eye-popping performances. He is averaging 48.5 points per game over that stretch, a run that earned him Western Conference Player of the Week.
With the players set, team captains Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James will select their squads on Feb. 6. The All-Star Game will take place on Feb. 16 in Chicago, Illinois.
