The frenzy of information that transpired following the trade between the Trail Blazers and Kings featured a notable typo. Wenyen Gabriel, a 22-year-old forward, was listed as Wendell in the initial report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Portland has traded Kent Bazemore and Anthony Tolliver and two second- round picks to Sacramento for Trevor Ariza, Wendell Gabriel and Caleb Swanigan, source tells ESPN.

Wojnarowski corrected his typo four minutes later, but Gabriel had already caught wind of the misspelling. The former Kentucky standout delivered a playful response to the report.
Damn I just got Woj’d https://t.co/6zyJ2AXTZT

Current Blazers forward Mario Hezonja will share a common bond with his new teammate. Hezonja has had a pair of memorable moments with Wojnarowski. The first occurred when it was initially reported that Hezonja signed with the Blazers, not the Knicks, in the summer of 2018. In the summer of 2019, Hezonja’s name was misspelled when he reached an agreement to come to Portland.
Woj my name is Mario Hezonja, we did this last year cmon bro!!

Gabriel, along with Trevor Ariza and Caleb Swanigan, is set to arrive in Portland after the trade becomes official on Tuesday.
