Absent for Las Vegas Summer League and lost in the shuffle of a busy summer from the Trail Blazers, big man Skal Labissiere emerged in workout video this week. The former Kentucky standout looked sharp on both offense and defense in the video from Ballislife.com.

After applying the appropriate grains of salt required when viewing offseason workout videos, it is encouraging to see Labissiere display the same versatility that made him a coveted recruit.
Following a midseason trade between the Kings and Blazers, Labissiere appeared in nine regular season games for Portland. In the season finale against his former team, the Haitian big man made his only start of the Blazers.
Labissiere is set to compete for minutes in a re-tooled post rotation for the Blazers in the season ahead.
