The Trail Blazers were among the multiple teams that attended Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis’ free agent workout in Las Vegas. The former NBA mainstays are attempting to return to the league after extended absences. According to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, the Blazers joined 13 other teams at the Vegas-based session.

Stoudemire, a 36-year-old big man, last played for the Heat in the 2015-16 season. Since departing the NBA, Stoudemire has appeared in the BIG3 league. Ellis, a 33-year-old guard, was last featured on the Pacers roster in the 2016-17 season.
The Trail Blazers currently have two open roster spots.
