Skal Labissiere failed to appear in the first outing by the Portland Trail Blazers in Summer League, and Jason Quick of the Athletic reports that Labissiere did not accompany the team to Las Vegas following fruitful practices and a shoulder injury. Labissiere had been announced as part of the Blazers’ Summer League lineup. He participated in the training camp that spanned four days leading up to Summer League.

Labissiere, acquired from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Caleb Swanigan, played limited minutes for the Blazers in the 2018-19 season. In the final game of the regular season, he notched 29 points and 15 rebounds in 41 minutes of play against his former team.
