The 39-year-old forward has played for five teams over an 18-year career. He suited up for the San Antonio Spurs and Milwaukee Bucks last season, appearing in 30 total games. He averaged 3.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on 44.7% shooting, playing 12 minutes per game. He holds a career three-point average of 36.8%.
Gasol was hobbled by a foot injury, requiring surgery, from which he says he’s recovering well.
