With the Blazers using the TPMLE on Rodney Hood Sunday and trading for center Hassan Whiteside, it was clear that Enes Kanter wasn’t going to be part of the Blazers’ future plans.

Now we know where he’s going. Shams Charania is reporting that Kanter has agreed to a 2 year/$10 million deal with the Boston Celtics:

The Celtics lost Al Horford to the Philadelphia 76ers and recently traded big man Aron Baynes to the Phoenix Suns.

For the Blazers last season, Kanter averaged 13.1 points and 8.6 rebounds in 23 games, taking over the starting job after Jusuf Nurkic suffered a leg injury. In the playoffs, Kanter averaged 10.2 points and 9.7 rebounds.
