Portland Trail Blazers guards Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are expected to be at August’s Team USA training camp, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Lillard and McCollum were named to a 35-player pool of potential Team USA candidates in April 2018 for the upcoming FIBA World Cup in 2019 and the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

As Wojnarowski hints, performance at the training camp will play a factor in deciding the 12-man team for the World Cup.
Marc Stein of the New York Times says the full 18-man training camp roster will be announced next week. Several players have already committed to the camp, including Anthony Davis, James Harden, Donovan Mitchell and Kemba Walker.
