- According the Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Warriors and Klay Thompson are closing in on a five-year max extension.
- ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne revealed that Kevin Durant has entertained the idea of teaming up with Kawhi Leonard.
- Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported that the Timberwolves intend to meet with restricted free agent point guard D’Angelo Russell.
- Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports kept it with the Timberwolves and explained that Minnesota is confident they can move Andrew Wiggins to free up cap space.
- According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, the Pelicans have veteran center Al Horford on their wish list.
- The Nuggets are picking up Paul Millsap’s option for the 2019-20 season.
- Shaun Livingtson and the Warriors agreed to push back the deadline on his guarantee for the 2019-20 season.
- Veteran point guard George Hill was waived by the Bucks. Only a small portion of his contract was guaranteed.
- The Nuggets extended a qualifying offer to Trey Lyles.

- Kemba Walker intends to sign a four-year, $141 million contract with the Celtics once free agency opens on Sunday.
- In the aftermath of Walker’s departure, the Hornets are looking at a handful of replacement options. Elfrid Payton, TJ McConnell, Ish Smith and Emmanuel Mudiay are few names on Charlotte’s list.
- The Knicks waived veteran forward Lance Thomas. Only a portion of his 2019-20 salary was guaranteed.
- According to The Athletic’s Joe Vardon, JR Smith pushed back his guarantee date to August in an effort to give the Cavaliers time to find a trade partner.
- The Hornets did not extend a qualifying offer to Frank Kaminsky. The former Wisconsin star is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
