The Trail Blazers already moved Evan Turner to add Kent Bazemore, but don’t expect President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey to include Anfernee Simons in a trade offer anytime soon. According to Yahoo Sports’ Keith Smith, the Blazers have turned away teams inquiring about Simons’ services.
Hearing that teams have been calling Portland to see about Anfrernee Simons and told no. One source told me "It's not that he's fully off-limits, but they made it clear they won't just throw him in a deal. No one is stealing Simons from the Blazers. They love him."

Simons, a 20-year-old guard out of IMG Academy, announced his arrival with a 37-point outburst in the Blazers’ end-of-season victory over the Kings. With Seth Curry headed to free agency, it is presumed that Simons will undertake a significant role in his sophomore season.
The Blazers selected Simons with the No. 24 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He appeared in 20 regular season contests (one start) and averaged 3.8 points per game.
