The Portland Trail Blazers and Al-Farouq Aminu have until before Sunday to decide on a possible contract extension, otherwise the forward heads into NBA Free Agency as an unrestricted free agent. The Athletic’s Jason Quick relayed comments from Aminu’s agent, Raymond Brothers, on Wednesday that claim there’s been little conversation with president of basketball operations Neil Olshey:
If the Trail Blazers and Al-Farouq Aminu are going to come to terms on an extension before Sunday (he's eligible for as much as 4 years and $48 mil) it will be a quick negotiation: Aminu's agent says "I haven't really talked to Neil (Olshey)." (1/2)
