Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard finished sixth in the 2018-19 Most Valuable Player award. That marks consecutive top-six finishes for him; last year, Lillard placed fourth in voting.

Giannis Antetokounmpo won the award by a considerable margin over James Harden.

Lillard averaged 25.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.9 assists (career high), 1.1 steals and 3.0 three-pointers. He led the Blazers to a 53-29 record—which ranked third in the West—and a trip to the Western Conference Finals.
