Evan Turner has been traded to the Atlanta Hawks for Kent Bazemore, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Turner stood to make $18.6 million in salary playing for the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2019-20 season; Bazemore had used his player option with the Hawks for $19.3 million in April.

While Bazemore struggled in the 2018-19 season, averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, he only played in 67 games for the Hawks over the season.
