The New Orleans Pelicans have traded Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers for Josh Hart, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and three first-round picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

But the Lakers are not done there. Marc Stein of the New York Times reports that they have their eyes set on the third player of their core: Kemba Walker.

The Lakers made a big offer to get Davis, though, as further news broke later in the day.

Free agency is still over two weeks away, when it opens at 3:00 pm PST on Sunday, June 30. But the games have officially begun.
