Upcoming Trail Blazers free agent center Enes Kanter continued his kid-centered basketball camp tour with a stop in Oklahoma City. Kanter, who played two and a half seasons with the Thunder, returned to his former community to spread joy to the children in attendance.
The festivities included Kanter participating in an anticipated rematch with one of his former campers.
Along with the basketball activities, Kanter partnered with Oklahoma Children’s Hospital Foundation to form the Enes Kanter Research Fund.
Kanter’s camp tour will make its next stop in Dallas, Texas later this weekend.
Kanter enters the 2019 offseason as a 27-year-old unrestricted free agent. He appeared in 23 regular season and 16 postseason games for the Blazers after arriving from the Knicks.
