Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant will not travel with the team to face the Houston Rockets in Game 6 and will be re-evaluated next week, the team announced Thursday. Durant underwent an MRI after sustaining what is being called a right calf strain in Game 5.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski hinted at Durant’s possible status for the Western Conference Finals:
Warriors will have to find a way to beat Houston in Western Conference semifinals, but Kevin Durant could be back for the Western Finals. https://t.co/NpwRRAPXkh— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) May 9, 2019
