The Trail Blazers emerged from Friday’s contest with a victory over the Nuggets, but they did suffer a few bumps and bruises. After the game, it was revealed that Enes Kanter re-injured his ailing shoulder. Along with his continued shoulder issues, Kanter also received an unfriendly elbow from Denver’s Nikola Jokic.
Following a free throw, Jokic appeared to target Kanter with a high elbow. After the game, Kanter asked for the officials to take another look at the video.

Regardless of the pain, Kanter finished with a double-double in 56 minutes of action. For Jokic, he completed a solid triple-double and was only whistled for four personal fouls in his 65 minutes of court time.
Sunday’s contest presents a quick turnaround for Kanter and his ailing shoulder. If the Turkish big man is able to play, the heated back-and-forth between Kanter and Jokic will take center stage in Game 4.
