The Grizzlies dismissed J.B. Bickerstaff from his post last month after his first full season at the helm. He recently joined the Cavaliers coaching staff as their lead assistant. The Grizzlies own the second overall pick in next month’s NBA Draft, and have missed the playoffs the past two seasons.
Tibbetts first joined the Blazers’ staff prior to the 2013-14 season.
