Portland Trail Blazers big man Enes Kanter stepped up to the mic for exit interviews to discuss his season, what he’s doing this summer, his love for the team and what he values the most when choosing a team this summer.

Here are some key takeaways from Kanter’s interview.

On his happiness in Portland:

I’ve been in the league eight years. Signing here is probably the best thing that’s ever happened in my career. ... There’s no question how much I love this team. It’s family to me.

On his upcoming summer plans:

Kanter also says he’s putting on 30 basketball camps for kids in different states this summer. “I can’t leave the country so I don’t want to just sit at home. It’s very important for me.” The camps will be free for kids.
