The Portland Trail Blazers kick off their Western Conference Finals match-up with the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night. While the Blazers are the underdogs, the Warriors are going to kick off their series without arguably the best pure scorer in the game.
Ramona Shelburne is reporting that Kevin Durant is out for Game 1 and likely out for Game 2:
Kevin Durant is out for at least Game 1 of the WCF, source tells ESPN. He’s not being re-evaluated until Thursday so it’s “unlikely “ he plays Game 2 either.

Golden State playing with no KD and probably no DeMarcus Cousins at the start of this series may be Portland’s best chance to steal one in Oracle, a necessity as the team without home court advantage. Of course, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will have something to say about that.
Game 1 tips off Tuesday night at 6pm.
