Portland Trail Blazers guard Rodney Hood went down with a knee injury on a screen by Denver Nuggets forward Torrey Craig during Game 7 between Portland and Denver. The play happened in the third period with 5:42 remaining, Portland trailing 55-58. Hood had scored 6 points on 2-6 shooting in 20 minutes.
The injury is being reported as a hyperextension of the left knee.
Update: This ESPN article quotes Hood saying he is “in a lot of pain right now”. He also says he’ll take it day by day and has no timetable for return.
