With only two days left in the regular season, there’s still a ton of doubt around who the Blazers will play in the first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs. Here’s what we know:
The Blazers can finish third, fourth, or fifth in the west.
The Blazers will finish third if:
they win both of their remaining games, the Rockets lose to the Thunder, and the Nuggets win at least one of their remaining games.
The Blazers will finish fifth if:
they lose both of their remaining games and the Jazz win both of their remaining games.
The Blazers will finish fourth if:
any other combinations of games happens.
In the first round the Blazers will play...
We have no idea. All four teams currently in the bottom half of the west’s playoff standings could finish in the 6-seed and three teams all have a decent chance of finishing seventh or eighth.
