The Suns will continue their head coaching search by visiting Portland on Saturday to interview a pair of Trail Blazers assistants. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, two members of Phoenix’s front office will journey to the Pacific Northwest to meet with David Vanterpool and Nate Tibbetts.

After meeting with top coaching candidate Monty Williams on Friday night in Toronto, Phoenix Suns officials are flying to Portland to interview the Trail Blazers’ two top assistant coaches on Saturday, league sources told ESPN.

Suns GM James Jones and VP of basketball operations Jeff Bower will meet with Blazers assistants Nate Tibbetts and David Vanterpool on Saturday, sources said.

Along with the pair of current Blazers assistants, the Suns have also expressed interest in Sixers assistant Monty Williams. Along with the Suns vacant position, Vanterpool and Tibbetts are on the radar for the Cavaliers top spot.

Both assistants have been cornerstones of Head Coach Terry Stotts’ staff in the post-Aldridge era in Portland.
