The Portland Trail Blazers are the first team in the 2019 NBA Playoffs to hold a 2-0 series lead. Portland’s star backcourt of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum put in a masterful performance to push the Blazers past OKC in the Moda Center on Tuesday.
Good things happen when the Blazers have a 2-0 series lead. Brian Wheeler, radio voice of the Blazers, highlighted after Tuesday’s win that the team is a perfect 14-0 after gaining a 2-0 series lead in team playoffs history:
This is the 15th time in @trailblazers history that they have led a playoff series 2-0. They went on to win each of the previous 14. Hopefully a good omen moving forward. Off to OKC on Wednesday for the travel group. Talk to u for Game 3 on Friday!
