In his pregame press conference, Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan stated that Paul George will be a game-time decision in the matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. George was recently sidelined with right-shoulder soreness. George is expected to participate in team warm-ups before being re-examined.

George averaged 28 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists over the 2018-19 season, appearing in 77 games for the Thunder.
