NBA players rank Damian Lillard among most underrated

The Athletic conducted an anonymous poll of over 100 players and the Trail Blazers guard made an appearance on the most underrated list.

Damian Lillard is among the NBA’s most underrated players, according to an anonymous poll of over 100 players conducted by the Athletic. Lillard tied for second in the most underrated category with Khris Middleton of the Bucks.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Warriors’ Draymond Green and Thunder’s Russell Westbrook tied for most overrated.

The players also voted overwhelmingly for Michael Jordan as greatest of all-time. MJ received 73 percent of the vote, while LeBron James received 11.9 percent.

Lillard made All-NBA first team last year and is having another stellar season, leading the Blazers to 50+ wins for the first time since 2015.
