Jusuf Nurkic’s 2018-19 season ended on Monday with a leg injury that will keep him out of action indefinitely, but his Trail Blazers teammates are carrying him with them anyway. Before their Wednesday night contest with the Chicago Bulls, the Blazers talked with Nurkic via FaceTime in the locker room. Multiple Portland media outlets reported the reunion.
Before taking the court tonight vs. the Bulls, the Blazers had a special visitor in their locker room: Jusuf Nurkic via FaceTime. Afterward, they huddled together and shouted, “1. 2. 3. Nurk!”

Fun note from the locker room - The team was surprised to have Nurkic's face show up on the TV at the end of a video session. It wasn't just a picture, it was a video call. They a got a chance to FaceTime with him before the game. Said he was in good spirits. #RipCity
