The Portland Trail Blazers play the Brooklyn Nets this evening (official preview here) on Blazer’s Edge Night...the annual event where our community donates tickets for kids in need and their chaperones from across the Portland area to see the Blazers play in person. Tonight 2245 young people, teachers, parents, and other adults who work with them will descend on the Moda Center to watch Damian Lillard and company beat Brooklyn!
We want to thank you for this year’s ticket donations. We also want to let you know that many of the local Blazer’s Edge staff will be in attendance. Our ticket agent informs us that the staff will be in Section 220. If you’d like to come by to say hello, we’re always happy to see you. A couple of us have duties before the game, so I don’t know how early we’ll arrive, but we’re there during the half and throughout the contest.
Enjoy the game tonight, everyone...and especially all of our Blazer’s Edge Night, 2019 participants!
—Dave
P.S. I’ll also be on Rip City Radio with Chad Doing and Travis Demers from 4-6 PM, Pacific today...a two-hour, in-studio stint that’s bound to be tons of fun. Join us at 620 AM, on the TV simulcast, and/or call into the show with questions if they allow it!
