Multiple media members are reporting that injured guard CJ McCollum has returned to the Portland Trail Blazers practice facility today. He is not participating in full drills, but is engaging in ball-handling and passing work. McCollum sustained a Popliteus strain in his left knee during Portland’s March 16th contest with the San Antonio Spurs. He was expected to be re-evaluated in a week, but no timetable for his return was (or is) set.
Joe Freeman of The Oregonian tweeted the news.
CJ McCollum is doing some (very) light ball-handling and passing work after the Blazers’ practice under the watchful eye of team Health and Performace guru Jess Elis.
