Damian Lillard is the second-leading scorer in Portland Trail Blazers franchise history. A long three-pointer with 1:56 remaining in the second quarter of Portland’s game versus the New Orleans Pelicans lifted Lillard above Aldridge’s 12,562 point total, giving the seven-year guard sole possession of second place on Portland’s all-time scoring list. Aldridge achieved his total over nine seasons with the Blazers.
Here’s the play in which the torch passed:

Lillard still trails all-time franchise scoring leader Clyde Drexler, who amassed 18,040 points over 11.5 seasons with the Blazers.
Update:
LaMarcus Aldridge offered his congratulations via Twitter.
Congrats @Dame_Lillard
