Damian Lillard: Likeable in Portland and Beyond

Everyone in Rip City knows how likeable Portland Trail Blazer Damian Lillard is, but a recent poll by HoopsHype demonstrates how wide Lillard’s audience has gotten. With open voting, people can upvote or downvote the most likeable players in the league, and all week, Lillard has hovered in the top five.

From giving away shoes from a U-Haul, to volunteering as a Special Olympics ambassador, to his Respect program that encourages at-risk high school youth to stay in school, there is no doubt that Damian Lillard gives a lot back to the community of Portland. Now it seems his reach has grown. No doubt his recent All-Star appearance has given Lillard a wider platform for his positive attitude and good works.
