Jusuf Nurkic is having a great season for the Portland Trail Blazers. That hasn’t gone unnoticed by the staff at HoopsHype.com, who ranked the Bosnian Beast 15th in their annual list of Top 25 NBA Players Under 25.
HoopsHype’s Alex Kennedy released the following video displaying the list.

Nurkic’s position is no surprise. He’s plenty good, but he hasn’t ascended to the level of Karl-Anthony Towns or the best overall under-25 player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. It is a bit of a shock to realize that Nurkic is the only Blazers player who belongs anywhere near the list. A couple years ago, Portland owned the rankings due to Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Everyone on the team was of, or close to, their generation. This incarnation of the Blazers is getting older. It won’t be long before Lillard and McCollum start qualifying for “Best NBA Players Over 30” lists.
How time flies.
