LeBron has expressed appreciation for his game numerous times and gave the Portland guard a shoutout after drafting him, saying “You know what time it is.”
Previously, James has said of Lillard “Give me Damian Lillard, I’ll show you how appreciated he’ll be.”
Lillard’s All-Star teammates are LeBron, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Ben Simmons, LaMarcus Aldridge, Karl-Anthony Towns, Bradley Beal and Dwyane Wade.
This is Lillard’s fourth appearance in the All-Star Game. Last year, he played for Team Steph Curry and scored 21 points, tied for second most in the game.
The All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 5 p.m. PT, available to watch on TNT.
