The 2019 NBA Trade Deadline hits Thursday. Deals and rumors will fly fast on the day before the big event. This thread will cover all of the preliminary action that doesn’t call for its own post.
We kick off with the Los Angeles Lakers swinging a deal, but not the Anthony Davis trade that everyone has been waiting for. Instead they obtained Reggie Bullock from the Detroit Pistons.
Sources: The Lakers are trading guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk and a draft pick to Detroit for guard Reggie Bullock. Deal is expected to be completed Wednesday.

Wednesday morning, the Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Thon Maker to the Detroit Pistons for Stanley Johnson.

Meanwhile, that heavily-rumored uber-trade between the Grizzlies and Hornets may have hit a snag, and Marc Gasol isn’t yet heading to the mid-atlantic coast. After he sat out last night’s game, Sean Deveney at The Sporting News says the deal went south.
But league sources told Sporting News that the Hornets and Grizzlies do not have an agreement in place, and that there is increasing skepticism on both sides that a trade can be brought to bear ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline. The Hornets have had interest in Gasol for some time, but a deal has not progressed.
The Grizzlies are still trying to move Gasol, along with veteran point guard Mike Conley, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times:
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, continue to press in their efforts to move Marc Gasol (Charlotte in the lead) and Mike Conley (Detroit and Utah are deeply interested but are yet to meet Memphis' asking price)

Memphis is said to be seeking multiple first-round picks in exchange for Conley ... and we have seen two deals in the last week (Porzingis and Tobias) that had teams (Dallas and Philly) willing to go to those lengths

The New Orleans Pelicans continue to explore trades for Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic, also according to Stein:
Separate from all things Anthony Davis, New Orleans continues to explore trades for Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic in advance of Thursday's 3 PM deadline, league sources say

And according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pelicans haven’t gotten back to the Lakers about their latest Anthony Davis trade proposal:
The New Orleans Pelicans still haven't responded on the Los Angeles Lakers' most recent trade proposal for Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. Pelicans have yet to engage L.A. on trade talks. Deadline is nearly 24 hours away.

Also, the Suns and Heat have completed a transaction.
Suns have traded Ryan Anderson to Miami for Tyler Johnson.
