Voting for 2019 NBA MVP is still months away, but Damian Lillard and Evan Turner are suggesting that OKC Thunder forward Paul George could earn the coveted award. ESPN’s Royce Young compiled the thoughts of the Trail Blazers guards via Twitter.

George is averaging 28.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game for the Thunder while shooting a career-high 41.3% from three-point range.
In three games versus the Trail Blazers he’s averaging 40.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists, shooting 50% from the field and 57.1% from the arc.
MVP indeed.
