Carmelo Anthony is a free agent after being waived by the Chicago Bulls on Friday. The report comes from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Chicago is waiving Carmelo Anthony, league sources tell ESPN. This was part of plan of allowing him to become a free agent.

Anthony began the season with the Houston Rockets but played only 10 games, averaging 13.4 points in 29.4 minutes in 40.5% shooting from the field. He is now free to sign a veteran’s minimum contract with any team except for Houston and Chicago.
