Carmelo Anthony was named Western Conference Player of the Week today after his run of inspired play:

Anthony averaged 22.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists while helping lead the Trail Blazers to a 3-0 record last week. The Trail Blazers signed the 35 year old to a veteran minimum contract last month.
