The Memphis Grizzlies have made it clear they are not letting Andre Iguodala go without getting something in return, and David Cobb of USA Today suggests that the Portland Trail Blazers could be a likely team to pursue the veteran big man. Iguodala would provide punch to a defense still searching for its identity.

The two-time All-Defense honoree would help fill the defensive void left in Portland by the offseason departures of long, versatile defenders Evan Turner, Al-Farouq Aminu and Maurice Harkless.

Portland could use the $19.3 million expiring contract of Kent Bazemore to initiate a trade for Iguodala, and the Blazers have a full stock of future first-round picks to include in a deal.

According to Cobb, Portland is an ideal candidate to trade for Iguodala, given how the team has struggled early in the season.
